" The art came into my life 1985, and after some years of sketching, doing crayons and watercolours, I found the oil. This has ever since been my number one media.

After the Milleniumshift I left the north for a longer period, and moved to Andalucia in the south of Spain.

         
         
 

I ended up living three years down there, with passionate and flamenco-dancing people.
This period influenced my painting a lot, and also my life. And it still does! I very often experience Spain, and its very special culture, in my body and spirit.

The last years I have been painting intensively, during certain periods full-time.
I have given 2-3 shows  (oneman-shows) each year, and also taken part in several big international exhibitions, in Sweden and abroad, some of them with jury.

Inspiration is being born in the dancing, likewhise in my TaiChi-practise. For sure it also
borns in the nature. The beautiful, strong and still nature I bring with me into the studio. There I let it be reborn, to come out as inner images and feelings. 


         


The color takes the lead, and I work intuitively. Painting shall be a meditation, then it      
  will be good !
The result should also touch something deep inside ... the painting must "be felt". And this
it will be if the spirit is there !

I experience that I have had, and have, great help from the diferent meditation-techniques,
which I have learnt and practied througout the years. Like Vipassana, Mindfulness- and Zenmeditation. All of them aim on guiding the practioner to balance and to inner peace".

Here follows a short biography :

*  1985-2000   taking numerous workshops and shorter painting-courses.
                      Studying at Stockholm "Folkuniversity" 1999.

*  2001-2003   was aprentice for swedish artist and art-teacher Britt Heden,
                      during the three years in Spain
 
*   2004           studies in painting and philosphy for Curt Källman, founder of the
                       "painting concept" Vedic Art.
                       / studies to become Vedic Art - teacher summer 2004.

*   2008           more art - studying at the Folkuniversity in Stockholm.

*  2009 ---      since 2009 continouesly receiving teaching and personal feedback
                      from Britt Heden.

*  2009           since 2009 member of "Roslagens Konstärsgille", a big and well respected
                      association of artists in the area north from Stockholm, Roslagen.
